Pavia, Iloilo – In a vibrant showcase of
unity, youth leadership, and community spirit, Property Company of Friends, Inc. (Profriends) marked its 18th year
in Iloilo with Familia Fiesta Year 3: A
Community-Led Celebration of Parc Regency and Monticello. Held last
Saturday, July 26, the festivities
unfolded at the covered gym and clubhouse of Parc Regency Residences—a fitting venue for a day that brought
residents together through fun, fellowship, and meaningful engagement.
Since 2007, Profriends Iloilo has grown from a
residential development into a thriving network of communities—home to more
than 7,000 residents across Parc Regency Residences and Monticello Villas, with new developments
like Monticello Intimo, Merrydale Homes, and Parc Regency Greens continuing to shape
the residential landscape of Iloilo.
A Full Day of
Celebration
The day began with a lively Color Fun Run at 4AM, followed by Zumba sessions and a Thanksgiving
Mass. Residents then enjoyed a variety of activities including a Furbabies Costume Contest, Bingo games, a Mobile Legends tournament, and championship matches in volleyball and basketball. An Awarding
Ceremony and Fellowship Night
capped off the day’s events, leaving residents with lasting memories of joy and
community spirit.
One of the highlights of this year’s celebration was
the Open Pool Day in the afternoon,
where children and families enjoyed free access to the swimming pool—adding a
splash of excitement and a refreshing break from the heat.
“Familia Fiesta
is a yearly celebration with our communities to mark Profriends Iloilo’s
anniversary,” said Bernadeth Escober,
Marketing Head of Profriends Iloilo. “But
more than that, it’s about fostering unity and building relationships,
especially among our youth clubs and homeowners.”
Empowering
Youth, Building the Future
This year’s theme placed the spotlight on the Youth
Clubs of Parc Regency and Monticello Villas, who were at the forefront of
organizing and managing the event—from logistics and tournaments to hosting
activities. Their active involvement reflects Profriends’ commitment to
nurturing leadership and civic values among the younger generation.
“We always
involve the youth because when we touch their lives, the parents follow,”
Escober added. “It’s part of our goal to
develop responsible, community-minded individuals.”
Strengthening
Local Connections
Another key initiative highlighted during the event was
the Exclusive Rewards Card—a special
program for Profriends homeowners and employees that offers discounts from
local partner merchants. The card, launched last year, now includes 28 partner establishments, offering
perks ranging from 5% to 20% discounts.
“We launched the
card to help local businesses and encourage our residents to patronize them,”
Escober explained. “It’s free for our
homeowners and employees, and it’s just one of the ways we support both
community and local enterprise.”
Looking Ahead
With Monticello
Intimo already welcoming its first families and new projects on the
horizon, Profriends Iloilo remains steadfast in its mission to build not just
houses—but neighborhoods filled with connection, opportunity, and hope.
“Moving forward,
we want Familia Fiesta to be increasingly community-led—with youth clubs and
homeowners taking the lead in organizing future events,” Escober shared. “It’s all about creating a sense of ownership
and belonging.”
Now on its 18th year in Iloilo, Profriends invites more
Ilonggos to be part of its growing communities in Pavia and Sta. Barbara.
“We look forward
to welcoming more families into Parc Regency, Monticello Villas, Intimo, and
our future developments,” Escober said. “There’s so much more in store, and we’re excited to continue building
alongside our partner merchants and homeowners.”
With Familia
Fiesta Year 3, Profriends once again proves that what it builds goes beyond
physical structures—it builds lives, leadership, and lasting connections.
