SM City Iloilo Unveils Art for Everyone exhibit

SM City Iloilo officially unveiled an exciting celebration of creativity and Filipino culture with the launch of Art for Everyone on July 15, 2025. The initiative is a nationwide art fair happening across 18 SM malls this July.

The exhibit at the Northpoint Event Center of SM City Iloilo runs until July 31, showcasing inspiring pieces from various Ilonggo artists—each artwork echoing the stories, traditions, and heart of the local community.

This year’s Art for Everyone at SM City Iloilo is more than an exhibit—it’s a tribute to the solid partnerships the mall has built with schools and local government units to artists’ collectives and cultural advocates. SM works hand in hand with the community to nurture talent and make art more accessible to all.

The efforts are rooted in relationships—with educators, youth leaders, and creatives who bring life to Iloilo’s vibrant art scene. Together, the exhibit aims to keep culture growing and evolving, turning spaces like SM City Iloilo into living galleries of Filipino creativity.

Now in its expanded run, Art for Everyone builds on the success of SM Supermalls’ award-winning 2024 Art Market, which earned a Gold Stevie® Award for Innovation in the Use of Events. That milestone event gathered over 1,200 Filipino artists and presented more than 4,000 artworks, creating a national platform for both seasoned and emerging creatives.

In SM City Iloilo, this year’s Art for Everyone features more than 100 participating artists and over 500 artworks. From seasoned masters to young emerging talents, this collection showcases the incredible diversity, passion, and vision of our local creatives.

The event formally opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Iloilo Master Artist Ed Defensor joined by Iloilo’s dynamic artist groups, Himbon Contemporary Artists Group, Kikik Collective, Uctonganon Visual Artists League (OVAL), UP Visayas , Central Philippine University, Exit Studio, Pintalonggo, Kapisanang Kape, Pandesal, at Pinta (KKPP), and Obra Barotac Nuevo. The Photographic Society of Iloilo is also part of the activity with stunning photographs of participating members.

Individual artists showcasing their masterpieces include Tito Paris Nobleza, Darlene Lorilla, Erwin Celeste, Joemar Tacadao, Bal Cerbo, Clarence Gallos, Joel Ordoyo, and Franc Garcia, Kristoffer Brasileno, Gelo Zarsuelo, Wapo Susvilla, Zharina Marie Lugo, Feldianne Aragon, Erica Beatrice Arco, Zara Angelica Oriel, Mark Francis Cordero, Franz William Felecio, Zade Penecilla, Pam Reyes, Francesca Panaguiton, Pong Josh, Marc Leo Layson, Vladimir, Alex Ordoyo, Joy Fernando, Jonathan Arro, Marie Haru, Kev Rendell, Joel Ferraris, David Ferraris, Daniel Ferraris, Reynaldo Libuna, Dan Dan Woo, Karylle Ariette, Mike Kevin Castro and Daniela Faith Senorin.
